I loved Horley. Horley had a "personal feel" to it.
I loved Horley. Horley had a "personal feel" to it. I loved the fact that the underground went right to Horley. Horley is also close to London Gatwick. You can get to London in around 45-60 minutes yet have the peace-and-calm of the suburb. The people were very friendly. Great hotel for a stopover when travelling through Gatwick airport. Best bits were the room which was clean adequately equipped and comfortable. The restaurant food was fair. We had a chicken schnitzel which was well cooked and moreish but lacked a little flavour. I let myself in with the door code, so did not meet any staff. The phone call I made to discuss check-in went well. The hotel had managed well my request for a ground or at most a first floor room due to mobility problems. The room was perfect for people with such issues and was on the ground floor.
