It is hard to find the right words to describe my impression of this guesthouse, which in every respect exceeded my expectations. The location is very convenient - close to the airport, yet pleasantly set a little apart by the main road. The property is maintained in excellent condition, with spotless rooms and a recent renovation. The rooms are spacious, with large, comfortable beds. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The selection is truly impressive - toast, muesli, yoghurts, fruit, as well as a full traditional hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages, and beans. Absolutely wonderful BnB in such a beautiful area with lake view, spotlessy clean, fantastic facilites-jacuzzi and pool for use by guests which added so much to our stay and our little girl loved it. Joy and Ross are outstanding hosts and attention to detail is very much evident here. Beautiful breakfast included, such a relaxing stay. We highly recommend Green monkey lodge, and we will be back ! Crumlin is a small village not too far from Belfast near the beautiful lake. The lake area is a great attraction and offers lots for people in general but also for families with children. Great playgrounds and nature around. In Crumlin we have been to the 3 Amigos Deli. Brilliant people. We arrived 5 minutes before closing time and they made us delicious burritos with no problem. And we were not rushed at all, very friendly and good taste of the food.

as our flight was delayed we did not arrive until after 1am. the owners greeted us and showed us to our room. Both the bedroom and on suite were a very high standard and spotless. The breakfast was probably the best I have had in a B and B and better than most hotels. W would not hesitate to stay again when in the area,
