Absolutely brilliant. Filip and Gavin were very kind hosts, even offering to give us a lift to and from the wedding we were attending a 3 minute drive/15 minute walk away, to save us from the rain. We wouldn't hesitate to return

We stayed at the Gate lodge. It was so cozy and cute with a private garden and a fireplace inside. It was cold and rainy outside so it was so nice that you had left wood for us so we could make a fire. The beds were really comfortable and there was everything you need in the kitchen.

We were warmly welcomed and given 2 excellent rooms. Both were spacious and spotlessly clean. The whole property is beautifully furnished and decorated to suit the style of the building. Ther are 2 delightful sitting rooms and a beautiful dining room. The parking is convenient and being able to walk to a supermarket and a couple of restaurants was very convenient. The room was exceptionally quiet even though the property is close to the main road.

Absolutely everything. There was everything and more with Oor house. The bed and the bedding was by far the nicest I've ever slept in. There was fresh milk, biscuits and more. Everything flowed and was so well thought out. I am extremely particular and this exceeded my expectations by far. The host went above and beyond and.was so helpful and incredibly caring. As a single female traveller, I felt safe and looked after. Eve though it's not his responsibility, which was lovely. Thank you ☺️ I cannot wait to go back on my return to Blairgowrie next week. I only did a video. So I will take some photos on my return 😍

It was comfortable and fresh. The size of the cottage was perfect for us. It was very easy getting the keys and the owner of the property kept in touch with us right up till we arrived giving plenty information that was relevant. We would stay here again.

There's not much in Bridge of Cally itself, just a hotel and...

There's not much in Bridge of Cally itself, just a hotel and a small post office/general store. The main advantage is it's quiet rural location with proximity to some lovely towns. If you like walking/running then the Cateran Trail runs through the village and there are opportunities for some lovely treks. There are mountains nearby and in the season it's not at all far from the Glenshee ski resort.
