We had booked the deluxe room, overlooking the street but not noisy. It is spacious, and the bed is big and very comfortable. The furnishings are old fashioned but comfortable and the bathroom is fairly modern, though the bath itself would not fill. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was acceptable and rather original with friendly service (after a while). Toast is not understood. The decor and choice of period furniture show the exceptional taste of the owner/proprietor. The added bonus is that we were able to dine well in the shaded courtyard garden.
