The food was outstanding (every dish exceeded expectations — especially the curries, fresh fish, and tropical breakfasts). What makes Wellesley truly special is the connection to the local community. Playing rugby on the beach with kids, joining a Sunday church service, sharing meals with families, and experiencing Fijian traditions like kava and fishing gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. If you visit, bring along clothes or school supplies to donate — it’s a small gesture that means so much to the village. Wellesley isn’t just a holiday — it’s an experience that stays with you. Patricia, her mum and children were wonderful! I loved staying in their home and felt like part of a family. They were very kind, welcoming and friendly. Patricia cooked me a delicious lunch and dinner and breakfast. It was a local cuisine, big portion and very tasty. I would come again!

EVERYTHING! Had everything we needed at the resort. We knew it was a bit of a drive from the Port (1.5hr) so made sure we organised alternative accommodation before moving to the Coral Coast. Food was great, although repetitive and we weren’t a fan of some cuisines they had at the buffet, the meals kept us full and there were other options at other restaurants. Rooms were serviced daily and kept clean & tidy. Activities galore which was fantastic.
