The road is illuminated and really safe to move around, because the richest residents of Finland live next to the road. For example, the directors of listed companies with their families and residents of embassies. I have also lived there myself. We stayed in Espoo for one night,then stayed four in Helsinki. It was the best way of enjoying the snow (being Irish it is a novelty )and enjoying the peaceful forest surrounding the hotel. It was a great start to our christmas break before going into the city. It was magical and I did a morning hike around the grounds of the hotel. I liked walking near the sea (the road noise was a bit annoying though), but the view is perfect. Food in the restaurant was delicious and not super expensive. I also liked the swimming pool with sea view (I had a problem with towels, couldn't find them in the changing room and didn't bring my own).
