Fisrt of all I would like to thank you Mr Yosef (GM) and all the staff member working in this great hotel. I stayed 6 days to celebrate Ethiopian new year with my fiance and we meet an outstanding customer service in your hotel, the cleaniness of the hotel is amazing every single corner of the hotel is shiny and clean properly, the lifts,the coridor and the business room etc. I have tried to test different meal course from the resturant it was testy and healthy food with lots of options. The hotel is located close to the airport eventhough they provide shuttel bus. Overall the hotel is perfect for traveller from different parts of the world, its safe and secured, forex service, high speed wifi, shuttle bus, souvenir shop and breakfast include ......and many more facilities.     Despite that it was really rainy, we managed to go to Unity Park, Entot Park, Technology Museum, visit the Palace Museum and went shopping for traditional clothing at Shiro Meda and the leather market. I definitely recommend the palace museum visit.

    The area we were in was under a lot of construction making...

    The area we were in was under a lot of construction making it difficult to walk anywhere. When we did walk we were targeted by pickpockets. Luckily we were on to them and avoided any losses. Having been to Addis Ababa before I know there are a lot of great things to see in the city, this was a short business trip. You will need to have reliable transportation in order to get around the city. For longer stays, find a reliable driver to hire for the week.

    i liked bole airport. its clean. the town, at least where i visited in CBD is clean. the taxis are fare is ideal. people i met are friendly. The prices of items is too high i couldn't buy anything there. The hotels are also very expensive. Generally things there are expensive. I liked the fact that public schools are free.

    Beautiful city, well lit and provides a sense of safety for all. The language barrier for a non amharic speaker is quite challenging, but definitely an excuse to learn a few words from a new language. The altitude is quite high so if you are from a coastal region, you might want to prepare for altitude sickness. Overall, the city is lovely, and I would be sure to visit again.

    Everything about this hotel was exceptional. As we stepped in to the hotel main entrance, the feeling of hospitality was mesmerising. All the hotel staff included management, reception, restaurant, and security were very professional. It is safe and secure area where verything you need whether it is a shopping malls, restaurants and transport are few steps away. Because we enjoyed two nights of our stay in this hotel, we felt home and extended our stay to 4 nights to explore more about the culture and beauty of Addis Ababa. Highly recommend.

    Wonderful Stay at Ivy Hotel, Addis Ababa I had a fantastic experience at Ivy Hotel. The airport shuttle service to and from the hotel was smooth and very convenient. The staff were exceptional, friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall service was excellent.
