DISCLAIMER - We visited this hotel off-season in the beginning of May. There were almost no other guests. Review is based on this experience. During our stay, it was absolutely silent, calm and relaxing. Would recommend this kind of stay to everybody. We are giving it a full 10/10. The hotel is brand new, and it has a stunning view over the sea and mountains on the horizon. Fully recommend it to anybody who wants to have a great time in this small town. A/C works perfectly well, everything is clean and still brand new, so it was nice to use it. Big parking space. A nice pool on premises, but honestly, the beach is 50m away from the hotel gates. Some restaurants and other services in the area. 1.5km from the real centre of the city where most of the restaurants are located. Close to the Mirador Cabezo del Gavilán viewing platform, from where there is a just stunning view over the city and mountains in the distance. Amazing spot. Really good and rich breakfast. Good pastries, fresh pancakes. Low prices in the cafe/bar on premises, where you can get snacks and sandwiches. It was open until 23 when we were visiting.

Senator Águilas is situated opposite Águila’s marina and the Mediterranean Sea. During July and August guests have free entry to the swimming pools.

It is well placed by the sea front, with access to the local promenade. The superior rooms are large with the addition of a sofa, and a sea view. The beds are large and comfortable and all the facilities are good. The staff were very helpful and multi lingual. The breakfast is superb with a good selection of hot and cold food. Underground parking was not expensive for Spain, but gave the extra security for the vehicle. It was my birthday, and a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses were put in our room, which was a nice touch.

La Galerica is located 200 metres from the beach in the fishing town of Mazarrón. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a private bathroom.

Fantastic location near everything and the beach. Immaculate presentation of the hotel and rooms. Loved the rooftop area and the quirkiness of the hotel. We were travelling by bicycles and they were very accommodating. Loved our stay here.

Hotel Carlos III is centrally located in Aguilas, 50 metres from the beach and from the Town Hall. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception and air-conditioned rooms.

Good value for a stop over. Very clean. The hotel looks old but well maintained and the cleaners really clean well.

The pool and location were fantastic. The staff were lovely and friendly and our room was upgraded to one with a balcony and gorgeous view.

Set in Puerto de Mazarrón, 600 metres from Isla Beach, Apartamentos Barlovento features views of the quiet street.

Great apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location near lots of bars and restaurants. Arrived early and the apartment was ready. The hosts are very responsive to messages and key access is very easy. Highly recommend it.

This is a very new development - it is only 2 stories high so not over crowded, it is facing directly on to the ocean. Really beautiful views, modern clean facilities. Friendly and helpful hosts. It is out side the main town - 30 mins walk to Harbour Front where there are many wonderful bars, restaurants and shops. There is a garage 3 mins walk away that you can use for emergency items. There is also a small group of bars & restaurants 10 mins walk away where you can enjoy wonderful freshly prepared delicious food.
