Lovely hotel. There were some brilliant and very friendly members of staff; all staff worked very hard The hotel was beautifully situated with amazing views. We loved the spa. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed some very good dinners too.

We absolutely loved our garden view room! The room had a classic interior and all the necessities we needed. Had a lovely walk around the locals neighborhood at night before heading to the restaurant just across the road. Parking was convenient just in front of the hotel on the street. Breakfast had all we needed and really loved that they had foreign interns practicing their waiting skills at the breakfast table. Really lovely work-and-learn environment for those guys :)

The location is excellent, right in the hearth of Gran Canaria, wherefrom all points of major interest are easy to reach. Casa Azul is a charming proprety among the spectacular mountains, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with everything necessary. Debbie and Carl are the best hosts one could wish for, always smiling, friendly and responsive -and let us not forget the two lovely co-hosts, the doggies Blue and Cassy who greeted us every morning with friendly tail wagging. The apartment was newly renovated and well appointed. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is right in the middle of San Mateo, just off the main road. There is an excellent patisserie next door which does attract a large crowd but the bedrooms are sufficiently well removed from the road so quiet enough.
