Breakfast was simple but very good and rich. Very good and freshly made coffee. I've stayed in top notch Hotels all over the world but never have seen a better cleaned room like here. Poolside is great. It's an absolute hidden gem. The Hosts Marisol and Saturnino are absolutely amazing and kind and were very patient with my little spanish. They served the best bread I've encountered so far in Spain. Nice moist rye. A treat after all the white bread . The place was beautiful, quite unusual oval-shaped stairwell and curved doors. Beautiful setting in the mountains. Set back off the main street, it was very peaceful.

This is a homestay in a remote part of the El Bierzo although it is a short drive to Ponferrada. The house was lovely and just what we needed for a restful stay. It is a very well-equipped house with a separate barbeque area by the little brook. There is parking for a car. The lovely balcony is great for people watching and watching the world go by with a book. There are walks from the house. We were met with the keys and it was easy to keep in contact with the owners through Whats App. The owner kindly left us a bottle of local wine. There is a co-operative bakery in the village - we had freshly baked bread every evening! We had a lovely stay.

This is a large family villa , with half a dozen bedrooms used for booking. It's has options for singles, couples to dorms, with shared bathrooms/kitchen. When we stayed it was empty, so we had the place to ourselves. The facilities are top notch and the decoration is beautiful. It really fells like you are at home. An excellent place to explore the region around. We stayed here because we wanted to hike in Corporales and Trevinca, so this sounded like a excellent option, for resting.
