Lovely hotel. There were some brilliant and very friendly members of staff; all staff worked very hard The hotel was beautifully situated with amazing views. We loved the spa. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed some very good dinners too.

We absolutely loved our garden view room! The room had a classic interior and all the necessities we needed. Had a lovely walk around the locals neighborhood at night before heading to the restaurant just across the road. Parking was convenient just in front of the hotel on the street. Breakfast had all we needed and really loved that they had foreign interns practicing their waiting skills at the breakfast table. Really lovely work-and-learn environment for those guys :)

The apartment was newly renovated and well appointed. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is right in the middle of San Mateo, just off the main road. There is an excellent patisserie next door which does attract a large crowd but the bedrooms are sufficiently well removed from the road so quiet enough.

We had a truly wonderful stay at El Refugio de Las Vegas. The whole place exudes tranquillity and harmony, perfectly suited for anyone looking to disconnect and relax in nature. The host were incredibly friendly, attentive and genuinely caring, which added a warm personal touch.
