This is such a magical part of the world. Bar Gran Sol for pinxtos is a must do experience, the other pinxtos restaurants are equally fab. For an outstanding gastronomic experience head for Gastroteka Danontzat in the medieval part of town, outstanding food, wine & the vibes are real. Hondarribia is more intimate than its larger cousin - San Sebastian - just a short drive away. The old town as one can imagine is full of history and interesting buildings. The newer part of the town has the beach and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes. There is enough to keep a couple entertained for several days. If you want a drive over the mountains there is a twisty road to San Sebastian well worth a try. Recommended for a couple to visit - probably not great for kids unless in the summer for the beach.Guest review byFrancisFrance - 10.0

A wonderful town with a lot of character and great views of the river/bay. I would love to go back. The restaurant area is nice, as is the walking area by the water. Find free parking near the large grocery store and walk in. Hard to find parkingGuest review byElliott

It's a small intimate hotel and the couple who own it are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms (and beds) are comfortable with a lift if you need it and really good air conditioning. The shower is good. The whole place is spotlessly clean. On top of that there is fabulous cafe opposite with the most divine breakfast/brunch and snack options.
