We booked a walking tour of the mesquite and Jewish quarter. It was a scam. The guide did not turn up, and they mesquite was closed for mass at the supposed ti8me of our tour. What a city. Never felt unsafe. The old town was beautiful with narrow streets and restaurants and bars everywhere. Do yourself a favour and eat at Pedro Ximenez. Fantastic food and staff that are attentive but don’t interfere. (Some restaurant staff are more interested in their phones and watching the clock rather than doing their job) Take a tour of the Mezquita - no explanation of what’s there unless you have a tour - incredible!!! The Archaeological Museum was a surprise for us. €1.50 entrance fee and it held our interest for the time we were there. Cordoba is SO old and has SO much history. Amazing place - we loved it. Cordoba was well worth the visit. The city is beautiful, the river is gorgeous (espeically at night time) and the food scene didn't disappoiint. Highly recommend staying on the other side of the river as we did if you're driving so you don't need to navigate the narrow streets but get the benefit of the beautiful old city.Guest review byMelissaAustralia - 10.0

I remember reading someone's blog saying you could skip Cordoba and I couldn't disagree more strongly! My friend and I were traveling through Southern Spain and booked Cordoba very last minute because we had 4 nights with no plans. I'm sooooo glad we did! We fell in love with Cordoba straight away. The beauty of the architecture, the maze of little lanes, the Mercado Victoria, the stunning Mezquita-catedral, the patios. There are so many things to do and see in Cordoba. We did a light and sound show at the Mezquita, watched a flamenco show with horses, bought stunning filigree jewelery made by the same jeweler who has provided pieces for the queen of Spain, ate delicious food, danced in bars and just had the BEST time. Cordoba, has something for everyone, don't skip it! 4 days was a great amount of time, but we could have easily spent a few more there.Guest review byKristelAustralia - 10.0
Córdoba is a gem.
Córdoba is a gem. All the streets curve so there is always some shade to walk in. The architecture is varied and beautiful. A block off of the main streets were wonderful restaurants. Flamenco at Tablo El Cardenal was wonderful. Lunch at Taberna Rafaé was excellent. Coffee and cake on the Plaza Canónigo Torres Molina was great. Capitone Tapas Bar was excellent. Planning to visit again. Mezquita is the remarkable. Córdoba is a spectacular city!
Córdoba is a spectacular city! Full of history and culture on every corner. I visited the Mezquita-Catedral, participated in a free walking tour of the city with Artencordoba, went to Arab baths and finished off with a guided tour of the Medina-Azahara, 6km outside the city. So many places to eat delicious Spanish food and soak up the atmosphere. Go in May for the Patio Festival, it should be amazing.Guest review bySiobhan

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic, I did get an upgrade for a very small amount and had a small kitchen and sitting area with couch included. They had extra towels and blankets, extra amenities in the bathroom like toothbrushes and bath sponges and shaving kit. It seems like this hotel really went the extra mile!
