Wadi Lahmy Azur is a wonderful Resort situated in the deep South of Egypt, on the Red Sea. There isn't any pollution as the nature is preserved and respected. What is more, nothing here gets wasted: from the building material to the food, everything gets recycled or used in a different way; that's why this could be called a "Green Resort". This place is perfect for sea lovers, since the waters are spectacularly clear. You can spend a holiday in total relax. There are two lagoons perfect for snorkeling, even for beginners like me; they are full of different and colorful fish of any kind and shape, and the reefs have wonderful and bright colors. For the diving lovers, there is also an open sea reef where you can have a daily diving and, if you're lucky, you can also see turtles! If the sea is quite calm, it is possible to have a snorkeling here too. The Resort has two swimming pools, plus a natural giant pool in the sea: a bay where the waters are shallow and you can walk and relax, maybe also see some starfish and crabs. It's possible to have some excursions nearby, even on the boat, throughout the diving centre; for example, you can visit the Hamata Islands or the Abu Ghusun Beach for a diving or a snorkeling trip. Anything you need is really a few steps apart: the restaurant (where you will eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner), the beach, the swimming pools, the bars, the rooms, the diving center, etc. This is a perfect place to spend your holiday in total relax.

The hotel was amazing, lovely staff, great food, beautiful house reefs. It was a paradise. Half board suited us perfectly, with small restaurant serving great lunches. There were excellent facilities, including an ATM, so no need to carry lots of money. Also, the diving school had all the kit available for rent at a fair cost, so snorkeling was very easy. A handful of vendors nearby, but no where to buy snacks - could do with a vending machine or two. WiFi was great, and allowed good internet access - even on the beach! The staff were attentive and kind speaking English, Italian and German. Snorkeling was amazing (although climate change is harming and bleaching the reef). Lots of charismatic fish, sharks, ray, eels and turtles. Hotel runs a fairly tight lifeguarding service, so felt very safe in water and it was a perfect experience for my partner who had never snorkeled before. They look after the reefs very well and have a shallow baby reef which is perfect for less competent swimmers, while the banana reef is stunning and perfect for experienced swimmers and divers. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you like swimming in the sea and meeting all the tropical fishes.

Food great, accomodation great and sustainable. Seen the turtles and beautiful coral bays snorkeling) Place is situated at the territory of Wadi el Gemal National park, water very clean, nature well preserved. Hope to come back soon
