We had the "deluxe double studio" and it was great! Spacious, comfy beds, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with a big selection of items. Location is great, silent area with a few minutes walk to the center of town with plenty of restaurants. All the staff members are nice and friendly and very helpful. Danke schön!

Comfortable beds, easy self check-in, a free bottle of fizzy water in my room and a water cooker and coffee maker in the hallway, everything was thought of. The breakfast was really good - it contained everything ein gutes deutsches Frühstück should, and in addition, the food was noticeably bio-sourced and excellently fresh. The location of Alte Post is a bit surprising : one might think from the pictures that it was in the middle of the countryside, but in reality it is in town, near a big shopping complex (Media Markt), and at the side of a busy road. However, there is a large garden and my room overlooked this and was beautifully quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everyone liked my dog (who was allowed into the restaurant and breakfast room). Supper was superb - beautifully presented, made with interesting ingredients and very, very tasty. BRAVO!

The location, check in was easy to navigate and we could help ourselves to drinks throughout our stay. Room was large and very clean. The large bed was amazingly comfortable with lovely clean sheets. I had read negative reviews about the breakfast, however having visited Germany for a long time the breakfast was great, plenty of fresh bread, little pots of fruit, yogurt and overnight oats. Good selection of meats and cheeses. Good portion controls means little waste. Unlimited juices water and hot drinks. Free parking. Please use the Konus card as this allows free public transport and discounts I. Some places.
