Bike hire info from the tourist office is out of date. Best bet is to go to the railway station, which hires bikes. This is a cyclist's paradise! There are countless trails that come and go around the complex system of lakes in this region. Each day you can go in a new direction, and come back to the lovely town of Třeboň. The architecture and ambiance of Southern Bohemia is historic but never overstated. We traveled with bikes as the area is fantastic for it and the hotel has a good place for bicycles and good parking spots as well. The surrounding area is quiet, with a lot of trees, and is cute. Breakfast is out of this world. Besides the normal bread and cereals, you have full fridges with juices, milds, yogurts, etc, you have food for allergenic, good coffee, cakes, sweets, and even protein shakes.
