Good sized, bright, very clean room with high ceilings and modern fittings and modern bathroom, overlooking river. Quiet and very central. Arrived very early but staff phoned Manager and got me checked in extremely early, very helpful, thank you. Was able to store my bike safely. Very good value.

The hotel was nearby a friends party for us. I was very impressed with the architecture and design touches. Breakfast was simple but well made, and I enjoyed the vegetarian options . Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the restaurant in the evening, but will next time. It was a pleasant stay for a weekend escape.

We almost didn’t stay here as some reviews were a bit negative but we’re so glad we did. From the outset the staff were lovely and allowed us an early check-in. The room was characterful and huge & the bathroom was beautifully renovated and the big bath was nice to relax in. The bed was full really comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the beautifully manicured gardens and my husband did the castle tour which he found really interesting. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant and found the prices reasonable, comparable to Pilsen & Prague. The breakfast was also very good, plenty to choose from on the buffet. Easy 45 minute drive to the airport, we were really happy we’d chosen to stay here for a last night in Europe, away from the crowds and somewhere peaceful and welcoming.
