Very quiet location, not ideal for people with limited mobility. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the village. Kalidonia Waterfall is a must see, its trail is not too steep but can get busy with walking groups. Not too far to Omodos which again is beautiful. This is a really pleasant place to stay, especially if you enjoy peaceful surroundings. We loved walking around the area—it felt very tranquil and calming, with a beautiful forest surrounding the property. There’s also a nice hiking trail nearby that leads to a waterfall. The hotel is rated 4 star and I would say it is getting the 4 star on facilities . It is very tired and in need of serious maintenance and upliftment . It is in a beautiful location in Platres for Troodos holiday. Room was comfortable and warm despite the cool weather. Staff was friendly and very accomodating. Breakfast was excellent and the coffee served best we had in Cyprus. Also the dinners we had in the hotel’s Kings and Poets restaurant were fantastic.
