Awesome place. In the middle of trees, with a lot of birds and iguanas that visit us in the morning after some pieces of fruit we let for them. Ecological place with Solar farm system and water reservoir for the water discard, used for the trees in the house. Close to the Curação west beaches (Porto Marie, Cas Abao, Daaibooi...), but you definitely need a car to access the place and the beaches. Special mention to Salim, who give us a lot of information and was an excellent host. I Already want to get back to Dream of Green Flamingo.

Very great staff ! Edison fidanke was nice to talk to - mother and daughter working in F&B very nice and polite ! Pepe in the bar was great, shurwin at the buffet was super nice.

Everything was just perfect. We had a relaxed and very comfortable stay at Villa Amalie. The hosts, Roger and Poul and of course their dog Irene were more than friendly and made our stay unforgettable. They offered many personal tips for vacational activities. Thank you! The city center of Willemstad is nearby and only a short walk away. To visit the beaches in the northwest of the island, you will need a car.

great location, the private beach is right next to the hotel, the room was well equipped, the hotel staff was really helpful and supporting us with all our requests/questions. The hotel is in a gated property not in the city center, so location is quiet and friendly, but you definitely need to rent a car if you want to go to Willemstadt. The hotel was also helping with the car rent, can only say positive things.

Location is great as it's close to everything. At the rooftop restaurant you can see the sea. The owner is really nice and even took me to the airport. Rooms are clean and new. The internet works really well also. Will come here again!

    It is my understanding that the best beaches on Curacao are...

    It is my understanding that the best beaches on Curacao are here in the North West section of the island- Willibrordus. We visited several, and while they tend to look alike, some offer more rustic settings while others offer a more upscale experience. Our favorites were Cas Aboa and Playa Porto Mari because of their better facilities.

    Koraal restaurant is great. So is the staff.

    Koraal restaurant is great. So is the staff. We booked breakfast and dinner in our stay. Both were very good. We stayed at the VIP/adult only section. Walking back to our room was very uncomfortable at night. NO LIGHTS WORKING GETTING TO OUR ROOM, very dark. My husband even walked up to the wrong room on Friday. Nevertheless this is by far our favorite staycation.

    Willibrordus is beautiful!

    Willibrordus is beautiful! You can see the Williwood sign (their version of the Hollywood sign) as well as flamingos. My favorite beach Porto Marie is also in Willibrordus. They have delicious food and drinks. We love it!

    Loved the area as it was calm to come back to after...

    Loved the area as it was calm to come back to after negotiating the traffic in the city. We ate at Marfa's Good-Hangout @Williwood on our last night and wished we had stopped sooner as we had to pass it as we entered and left the property. It looked like it would be fun and it really is worth visiting as often as possible. The staff and Marfa were excellent and the drinks and the food were outstanding. We had live entertainment the night we visited but missed Karaoke night. It was so much FUN and worth a visit or several.

    The town/village has nothing to do.

    The town/village has nothing to do. One hamburger place - Very tasty goat burger! That place is called Toko and it is in the town. It also has a small shop for things you might need and drinks). The rest is only to go to the beach - Port Marie is nice soft white sand. About 4.5km from the village. Coral resort is expensive but offers things if you wish to pay high. No sand beach. Expensive. Safe and clean place. About 4.5km from the village.

    It is close to the nicest beaches !

    It is close to the nicest beaches ! Especially tp porto mari and then its just a 20 min drive north and you have the most amazing beaches ! Proximity to the capital is approximately 20min too :) all in all good location and there are flamingos very close by !
