The hacienda is a wonderful and peaceful place to enjoy the mountain and the views. We stayed two days and the hosts, Frédérique and Philippe made our stay a beautiful weekend to remember. It is a lovely new hotel, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and the meals are included and were very tasty. We really enjoyed the vanilla plantation tour with Philippe and the water falls he took us to see on their propriety, soooo refreshing! And we saw a few toucans and red macaws near the hacienda. If your are looking for a comfortable and quiet break with a view, don't hesitate. They can also organise hikes on their land (it's big) or on the nearby national park with a guide if you want a challenge.

Highly recommend stay at Villa Elenita!!, initially had booked for 1 night but extended our stay as the Villa was ideal, great value , exceptional for facilities and really caring hosts, Gilberto was very helpful and genuinely guest focused, communication was clear and always attentive, the Villa has been constructed in such a practical, comfortable way and attention to detail, everything works and makes for a great stay! It’s a really nice place to stay. Everything was perfect, the food, the beds, the staff, the owner and his family showed us so much kindness and hospitality. Beautiful place with a terrific view over the surroundings. Would love to come back!

This place is amazing. I booked only one night on our way from Uvita to Monteverde due to a misscalculation, and already at the reception I was feeling sorry that we were staying just one night. The welcome was so hospitable and warm, the welcome drink was the cherry on top. Our room was spacious and beautiful, stylish decor, facing the jungle as I had hoped, cause we are light sleepers. They have a lovely pool area over looking the ocean, there is also a bar and a very nice restaurant, which both close at 10pm, so there will be no noise coming to the room from there. Be sure to try the chicken dish and mango monkey margarita! All the staff were kind, attentive and smiling. I hope we can return to this place, it was so relaxing. No need to leave the property at all, but there is a small town center a few kilometers to the south with a grocery store and a few restaurants, if you want to.

It was a great resort to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. We were super happy about that after couple of busy days in Manuel Antonio and Quepos. The resort is just next to peaceful beach, where no one tries to sell you something or give a massage, etc, etc.
