The owners were nice. The location is good, close to the jetty where the boat for Corcovado leaves. There is a bakery nearby that opens very early in the morning.

The room was well equipped, fans and AC inside and also on the terrace, the yard was beautiful and well decorated, pool was nice but the ocean right in front even better, kayaks and bike loans for free - everything we needed for a relaxing stay with two young kids. The staff was helpful and nice, cleaning staff as well. Great stay!

Thank you for your exceptional service. The hotel manager provided us with a lot of information and helped us with the on-site arrangements. The accommodation was clean and in a quiet area of town. Embassy house is a very unique place! The host Rafael is extraordinarily kind and helpful. He has a dog named Fidel and a "fat", orange cat named Trump. Both are very cute! The house is full of books, chessboards and other cultural assets, which formed a base for intriguing conversations. The house is located at the very edge of the village. It has a beatiful garden with a terrace on which we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Overall the place has -in the most positive way- a certain "movie-like" feel to it. My girlfriend and I, having planned to go directly from San José to Corcovado national park by bus, our stay in Puerto Jimenez was originally a necessary measure, since there was no connecting bus at the same day we arrived. We ended up enjoying every minute of our stay and Rafael even provided some information about the animal species to be observed in the national park. Overall, I can totally recommend staying at Embassy House and would love to come back any time soon!

The main reason we chose the place wasfor the wild animals, remote place away from the city and tranquility. This is not a luxury suite but a very rustic one. The hosts were very nice and willing to accomodate every request, helping with tours recommendations and any other request.

Loubnan is such a lovely host and did everything to make us happy. There is a big community area with a kitchen and a fridge. Perfect to stay a few days and explore the beautiful Osa Peninsula.
