The Hacienda is in a magical place - one can feel the positive energy there already when entering the estate. It is tastefully designed, spacious rooms. Excellent views towards the mountains. Home made meals. Beautiful garden - the best chance to spot hummingbirds. We visited the vanilla farm with the owner. We also did some of the hikes in the property - pristine nature , waterfalls , no other tourists. We loved it all!

we had to make a stop here due to heavy rainfall we couldn’t make it to Manuel Antonio. The hotel staff was so nice even though the kitchen was closed they still provided us with food as they knew we spent 13 hours in the car and were very hungry. pool was great and rooms were nice and spacious, shower was awesome!

The hacienda beachfront feel to the property was really nice with great views of the sea. The food was tasty and plentiful and the chef was always happy to accommodate. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was amazing. The sound of the waves from the sea help for a great sleep. The gym was well equipped and a nice touch for us who like to workout early. The pool was refreshing and a great place to chill with a cocktail. I enjoyed my two nights at Sunset Del Mar and highly recommend it. I will be back.

Stunning resort! Great pool, beautiful rooms and lush gardens, wonderful food. After we just arrived we went for a walk on the beach and found a nest of turtles hatching (daytime and off season). The most amazing experience, better than any tour we did in CR!
