The hosts were wonderful.

The hosts were wonderful. Freshly made breakfast every day and the dinner Marcos prepared was delicious. The site was clean and welcoming. Helpful hosts for activities, guides etc. In the vicinity nearby. Wonderful and relaxing to stay by the pool all day. We hope to come back again and can recomend a stay here, and wished we could have stayed longer!

Playa San Miguel is an open unspoilt beach.

Playa San Miguel is an open unspoilt beach. Cocos Locos is a local bar a little further along the beach. Friendly people and great to relax at. Be careful of rip tides. Take a float out with you and never go deeper than waist deep. Read up on how to get out of rip tides. Palm trees provide shelter from the sun, but don't sit under the coconuts!

The best part is that it's remote and very uncrowded.

The best part is that it's remote and very uncrowded. Far away from the crazy, anxious greed of humanity. Other than the exceptional first class 5 star food and service at the Palmetto lodge we had an entertaining and rare experience at 'Pizza Tree'. You are literally up in a huge, magnificent tree eating pizza and drinking cold beer! The Italian owner and pizza chef is a gracious hard working character- very fun and great pizza!
