Location and viewing of flora and fauna was exceptional during our stay. James was an exceptional birding tour guide. Food and service was exceptional, The tram ride through the rainforest was awesome.

What an amazing place. The rooms are a really good size with two very comfortable double beds. Good to have proper coverings for the windows that blocked out light. It was so quiet here at night. Lovely grounds with lots of birds and a troop of howler monkeys visited whilst we were there. Dinner was exceptional. No menu just said we ate everything and a large tray for the two of us arrived. It was all so tasty. Definitely recommend this place as a convenient overnight stay before or after getting the boat to Tortugero.

A place with a beautiful view surrounded by trees and nature, the sounds of the variety of birds makes your stay very pleasant. The room is spacious and very Cozy, The staff is very friendly and helpful, It is also an excellent option to rest before traveling to the Caribbean in Costa Rica or when you return. We stayed in 7 different places in Costa Rica and this was our favorite!! The place in incredible, in the middle of nature. The room is a cabin extremely well planned and curated. The hosts are a family that lives nearby and is incredibly helpful (they offered to pick our delivery dinner since they were already heading to town 🥹). Breakfast is with fruit they grow to n the property, and homemade yogurt and pancakes. We loved the whole experience. Worth a detour for sure!!!

Incredible stay in beautiful tent surrounded by nature. Fantastic choice to break up drive from San Jose to Tortuguero. Klaus was very friendly. Outstanding breakfast. Two very cute dogs. Highly recommend to all!
