The staff is great, very friendly. The breakfast at the restaurant is delicious and beautifully presented, the rooms are very large. The grounds are beautiful with lots of plants, birds, and a couple iguanas. This hotel is located a short walking distance to playa Brastilio which is not the nicest beach in the area but a 10 min walk will take you to playa Conchal which is a beautiful beach.

Highly recommend this place. Very comfortable beds with a hot shower and delicious breakfast in the morning. Staff was very nice. Pool was not open which was a bummer but still had a great time. Loved having our own coffee maker in the room

It was a hidden treasure… the beds were very comfortable and the view and the pool are just unbelievable. María, our host was absolutely adorable and you must follow here recommendation of dining at El Tico. Best steak I have ever tried in my life.

Hotel Huacas is a wonderful new place to stay in Huacas, Guanacaste! The rooms and property are very clean and look great — everything feels fresh and well taken care of. The owners are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make you feel at home. You can really see how much they care about their guests. Incredible first class attention from Arnoldo, all the staff and the chef. Rooms are spacious, new and clean, and the private pool is just excellent. The smaller size of the hotel allows you to receive an ad-personam treatment that it’s impossible to get even at the best hotel chains. Totally recommended!

Breakfast was very good and dinner was exceptional. The room is one of the most beautiful we ever been. The private pool with the marvelous views on the bay are stunning. Ariel gave us the best service ever. As it is adults only the hotel is very quiet.

Everything was great – I highly recommend taking a bungalow, it’s very atmospheric. The staff was wonderful; we even asked, and the girls prepared our room earlier for us. Perfect place to relax right by the ocean, with a lovely, relaxing atmosphere and well-kept territory.

    We did not originally plan to do the beach this trip, it was a cloud forest and volcano trip, we decided last minute to go the beach and chose Conchal beach as the place to go. Patagonia restaurant is a great Place for dinner.

    A small place, the beach is small (relative to others in the vicinity and has less vibe). The night life appears to be limited to a couple of bars and shops around the town square (although at times an attraction park or a festval of sorts is set up there). One good - and expensive - restaurant and a couple of good ones that are more wallet-friendly.

    The location was good.

    The location was good. The room was sparse, sheets did not fit and I did wonder if they were clean, they were awfully creased and looked slept in, we were given three pillows ! . There was no breakfast available. The restaurant closed at 7pm. I would advise seeking an alternative hotel.

    I would definitely not recommend staying there besides, it includes breakfast, but apparently it does not even though they send you a welcome email that says it does. They do not serve coffee after 8 AM. It is extremely loud until midnight and then they wake up at six in the morning, doing a recycling in front of your door. Proximity to the beach is amazing but that’s the only thing.

    A quaint hotel right on the beach. Perfect for a slice of local life. Tons of nearby restaurants with many options. The pool was small but my kids loved it. Recommend for families and those wanting to experience the local life

    Brasilito is a small town full of local residents.

    Brasilito is a small town full of local residents. I would not describe this as a tourist town, which I liked. Most locals speak only Spanish but are happy to try to converse with you. Good little small inexpensive restaurants featuring great seafood. Playa Conchal is a beautiful shelled lined beach just a 10 minute walk south of the town square, Well worth the walk. Several hotels within walking distance of beach, shops etc.

    The unit was large and spacious. Very clean, comfortable, had laundry, a dishwasher and a large kitchen. The common spaces were well maintained and lovely. The pool is shared by only 8 units, so it was quiet. The location was great with a car, Flamingo, Brasilito, Conchal were all seemingly less than a 10 minute drive. The grocery store and food in Flamingo were great. We liked the local side of Brasilito best. We could back our car up to the edge of the beach, pitch a hammock and jump in the wild waves.

    It’s clean, comfortable and has the best owners and staff in Brasilito. The transformation of this property is stunning. It’s a quiet little gem just off the main road. It’s comfortable and quirky. The owners and the hostess bring this place to life. I travel extensively and it’s very seldom you get such personalized service. We loved our stay because we were given such personalized treatment. If I ever return to Brasilto, I’ll return to Quinta Esencia.

    We loved staying at this little hotel, an oasis in Brasilito, walking distance to both Brasilito and Conchal beaches. The staff we super friendly and breakfasts were delicious as well as dinner. Will stay here again next time in Brasilito!!
