The perfect place for some rainforest relaxation. Jhon coordinated everything prior to our arrival, including boat to/from Mocagua and tours. On arrival we were met by Nelson and transported to the location by boat and 15 min walk (high water season). We did several activities, most within walking distance of the accommodation. Standout was the Cocoa Route, harvesting and processing chocolate from their own trees. The place is owned by a local family and they were lovely (even with our poor Spanish).

we had the tower room with private bathroom which was absolutely gorgeous!!! easy to Organise Tours when you are there. everything worked well (the Peru sloth tour was by far the best). good food at a very good price.

Staying at this hostal with a local family was an unforgettable experience! It offered an authentic glimpse into the daily life of the Macedonia community. We had incredible adventures, including a night walk through the jungle, a canoe ride on the river, and an amazing trip to a neighboring community in Peru. The chance to observe the stunning nature up close was truly special. The food was delicious, and the comfort exceeded our expectations. If only we could have stayed longer!

The best place for your unforgettable Amazon experience!! Staying with the Tikuna family of German, Sara and Calet makes you feel like you’re part of their life and community! The activities (all guided by locals from the community) offered by Reina Arriera are enough to stay for more than a week, but even in 2 days you can have a great experience. The Accomodation has potable water all day, the bathroom (always clean) and shower water are treated and there’s even wifi. Extremely spacious and comfortable Cabanas. Charlie and family welcomed us warmly and you can tell they are very genuine people. Loved that the place is surrounded by nature, giving a sense of peace. Instantly regretted that our stay was only 2 nights the moment we entered. Location is at a peaceful corner slightly outside of the town but easy to walk to and from. Highly recommend for anyone visiting this Puerto Nariño. Unbeatable value!

He also put me in contact with a great guide, Alex, who took very good care of us and made us discover many wonders of the area.
