"I recently stayed at casa playa James with a stunning view of the ocean and a beautiful swimming pool. The sunset was really beautiful 😍 The experience was truly exceptional, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and scenic beauty. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the poolside atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend for a beach getaway!"

Markasa is more than a hotel, it is a home away from home. We had arranged an airport pick-up for our arrival, and were greeted by David, the owner, and immediately we were put at ease by his warm and kind ways. Upon arrival at Markasa, a warm Colombian coffee was waiting for us and we went upstairs to settle in to our room before taking a walk on the beach. Our room was impeccably clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were also very impressed by the excellent selection of TV options, with full access to both Netflix and Prime Video. An amazing home cooked breakfast is available (at an excellent price), we are very grateful to Sandra for her kindness and cooking. During our stay, David was available 24/7 to help us with anything we needed, including dinner delivery, transportation, information, and even coming with us to a nearby restaurant to make sure that we were treated like locals. We have so many positive things to say, but ultimately the most essential thing is that David, Carmen and Sandra made us feel like we were family.  The cherry on top was having our hearts warmed every day by Milagros, one of the sweetest dogs you will meet.

Summer is a simple but very fair hotel. People are very friendly and helpful, especially the ladies at the front desk. The hotel has everything I value: cleaners, confort, helpful staff and a fair price. It has a nice pool with a bar in the top floor, which made all the difference. The food is amaizing and the cookers and attendants are super sweet. The location is good if you want to stay close to the Airport.

I will truly recommend this hotel , because of great position in Cartagena. Room service ,ladies which were cleaning everyday , stuff in restaurants was so great, friendly and pleasant. Nice place with two pools outside, gym ,tennis court…. etc. Two restaurants in hotel with so delicious food and drinks like Pina colada and Coco lemon we truly recommend to taste it.
