Staff are excellent. Top notch customer service. Location across from train station meant we were in Zurich within 15 mins. View of the lake is beautiful and a nice way to wake up. Breakfast is excellent and overall a high quality experience. Would absolutely stay again. Quick walk to shops, drugstores, and groceries.

We had a very nice weekend in Hotel Ochsen, located in a very nice area for walking and cycling, near Zug and Zurich. Owners and staff are very nice and helpful, good breakfast, room, bathroom. Dinner served is delicious…..

    Nothing, this is not a hotel, at best it’s a hostel with individual rooms. The bed was broken (the wooden slats under the mattress), the TV doesn’t work (there is no cable connection to any TV network) and the basin was clogged as a start. They put a message to say you can’t take long showers as that will set off the fire alarm. The furniture is all scuffed with the exposed wood under the fridge. There is no AC, some ancient fan in the corner.

    this is a very unusual hotel as there are no staff. But getting into the hotel and your room is no bother at all. in fact much quicker than going through reception. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot. sheets and towels were fine. I have visited Wadenswil many times and my tip would be don’t have a lake facing room, the trains on that side are very noisy. Considering Switzerland is very expensive this hotel is good value.

    Excellent location, amazing staff, good breakfast and above all the room 301 has a balcony with superb view. Just few steps from the train station Wädenswil that offers multiple direct connections to the Zürich HB.

    Very charming hôtel with very nice view on Zürich Lake. This place is a jewell. The terrasse is really nice and the green surrounding makes it peaceful and quiet.
