We booked this at the very last minute under some stress, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and had good bathroom facilities. The hotel is located right on Lake Geneva, and is a really pretty spot. The outside restaurant is right on the lakeside and is very popular, and the good spots get booked up. But there is lots of space and good views. We really enjoyed the food and drinks which for Switzerland were quite reasonably priced. St. Gingolph was a really interesting and unexpected find. It is right on the boarder with France, and so we ere able to travel to France as well. There is some very interesting history and architecture to be explored. There are also lots of boat routes on the lake directly to and from St. Gingolph, which is a wonderful way to get around. We really loved this place; the town and the hotel.

Location and affable hosts. Relaxed town within easy reach of major venues. Train station is a short walk. We just spent eight days in Aigle at this wonderful BnB. At first we thought Aigle might be an odd, out of the way place to stay but it was great. It is conveniently located for getting back-and-forth through the wine country, up to Lausanne, and even out to Zermatt. We had a car, so the secure, gated parking was appreciated. The host were charming and attentive. The facilities were spotless and the beds comfortable. One of the best BnB’s we stayed at. And of course, there was Chester the black lab who greeted us gently whenever we returned …

    I loved the appartement, it is small but it has it all, very...

    I loved the appartement, it is small but it has it all, very cozy and mountain feeling. the terrace is just wonderful, big enough if you come with four people. In my walkes I missed the landscape vieuws because Torgon is surrounded by woods. I was there in wintertime but I can inmagine in summertime the woods will be a warm welcome during high temperatures. I am planning to find out. :-)
