Great option for being affordable if wanting to visit Zermatt. A trains runs between the two cities every 20 minutes which makes travel easy. Not much in Täsch in terms of shopping/restaurants so keep that in mind before leaving Zermatt.Guest review byReesha - 8.0

It was very nice, but we didn't spend much time there. Our main goal was to get to Zermatt and see the Matterhorn which was fogged in 30 years ago when we last visited. Tasch is the car parking and coach drop point for Zermatt, has a couple of nice restaurants slightly cheaper than Zermatt. Has a train station coffee and convenience store.. I have looked at some of the other reviews and they all said that it was good, especially as the parking was included. I will say that this was not the case for us. When we arrived, we parked our car in a slot outside, there was a man there who told us that the parking would be 8 FSF per night. Then we tried to go into the building, the 1st difficult for me, was there were 5/6 stairs to get to the level where the entrance to the hotel was, then no one at receptionist, we were on the time that we stated that we would arrive., only then to find we had to go somewhere else for the keys. Unacceptable, When we finally got in, the room was big, clean and a good balcony , this part was fine.Guest review byJackie
