The staff was fantastic, there was a big storm that caused the main road to the berghotel being blocked. They checked on me regularly to make sure I was fine and made every effort to make my stay comfortable despite the disruption. Not withstanding the issues with the road the location is really nice for hiking. The food and the breakfast were great too!

The warm and genuine hospitality of the staff made us feel welcome immediately, as if we were old friends rather than first-time guests.     Saas-Almagell a quiet village a short bus ride from Sass Fee. It was nice to be away from the noise and crowds of Sass Fee. The scenery in the Sass valley is amazing. I'm definitely going to come back in the spring to do some hiking.

    Location is very good. Just nearby the main bus stop, the supermarket which opens 7-19 every day and the starting point of trails from Saas-Almagell. The room is equipped all you need and exceptionally clean. Landlord and landlady are very kind, charming and caring. Besides, they know well about the trails around Saas-Almagell and give you good advices. You should feel here is your home!

    Egon and his family went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They helped me arrange rental skis for the weekend and personally directed me to the best restaurants within walking distance. Parking at the hotel was convenient and the bus stop for Saas Fee was right across the street.

    This is a very simple facility - don't expect 5 stars with golden taps or so... This hotel is rather for backpackers and similar, so I'm rating it as such! Very sincere host! Very good value for money (includes half board)!

    Corina was very friendly, responsive and helpful with everything. The hotel has a lovely cozy feeling and is great for families and the proximity to Saas Fee is great.
