This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. It's a very lovely hotel, location is perfect right in front of the lake. 10 minutes for a lovely walk from the Hergiswil train station to the hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Oh and it's only 2 stations away to the Alpnachstad Pilatus station.Guest review byNungning NingFrance

At the same time, the breakfast was great with lots of varieties. The water/coffee corner on the 3/F was definitely a bonus. We loved the stay from the beginning to the end and would like to especially thanks to Lea who took care of our check in and booked us a nice table for dinner in the hotel's restaurant. The hotel is located near the lake, short walk away from the ferry stop and the train station. So ideal to visit the area and get away from the busy Luzern centre.
