We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were delighted with everything it had to offer, including the rooms, the stunning views, and the exceptionally friendly staff. The spa area provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and the location of the hotel was truly outstanding. It provided a serene and tranquil environment that allowed us to unwind and find peace. Modern Times Hotel is a recent development with comfortable, light and spacious rooms (and some superb views, particularly on the garden side). The hotel facilities and room furnishings are modern, in very good condition and provide for a very comfortable stay. We have found all the staff whom we've encountered to be friendly and helpful and this contributes to the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Although located on the edge of Vevey (close to the main autoroute along Lake Geneva and connecting directly to the Bern autoroute), the hotel provides travel cards for the region and there is a good local rail service connecting to Vevey town centre which we have used several times to enjoy the lakeside atmosphere in Vevey. The hotel restaurant, which is also used for breakfast (a pretty extensive buffet), is modern, airy and relaxed. We have stayed here on numerous occasions when travelling through this region on longer trips (so we also appreciate the excellent parking availability) and have never been disappointed.
