We had a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding, and the staff was friendly and consistently prompt in responding to our messages and assisting us with any inquiries. The room was cozy and equipped with all the necessary amenities, along with a stunning view. The breakfast provided a wide selection, and they even prepared scrambled eggs upon request. The location was convenient, with a nearby bus and train stop that made it effortless to travel to Interlaken and the surrounding region.

We loved everything about the hotel. We stayed in a junior suite for 3 nights. We watched the sunrise from our balcony every morning accompanied by the sounds of birds. The bed was comfortable. There were many closets in the room. The hotel was newly renovated. There were many options for Muslims at breakfast. Every morning we ate salmon and eggs that Mr. Peter brought to our table by the lake. There was a path next to the hotel where we could walk and only meet local people. We walked by the lake accompanied by the sounds of birds. There was also a separate section with sun loungers where you could enter the lake. The hotel is right next to the ferry pier. Parking is free. We would also like to thank Mr. Peter and the hotel owner, Mrs. Michel, who took special care of everything in the hotel.

It’s hard to review this property because we want people to stay there so it stays open, but we also want to keep it a closely guarded secret as it’s just too special! The hotel is a typical Châlet style. Our room was very generously sized and we had the most exquisite view over the water. It’s not been decorated for a while, but that only adds to its charm. The restaurant on site was superb, we didn’t even think of eating anywhere else! We will be back.

The hosts are friendly, welcoming and always there to help. The view from the balcony room is amazing- postcard quality. Good breakfast, free coffee and water bottles. Cosy accommodation. Parking for those who drive and nearby public transport. Overall a great place to unwind and relax -by far the best place in Switzerland that i've stayed🙂

    Beautiful historic hotel set next to the Giessbach waterfall, lake, and spectacular mountains. Lovely and professional staff, courteous service, elegant but relaxed. Beds were comfortable, our room was a very nice size, and the other guest areas including the hotel grounds were authentic, historic, and charming. Breakfast was also delicious and served daily from 8-11. We can't wait to return!

    other than the location of this property, there is nothing great about stay at this hotel. they are just charging high for the location. otherwise they have the poorest of services. They don’t even provide a kettle and tea/coffee amenities in the room. so forget about having a hot sip of coffee in bed, if you like to do so or to have hot water.

    Easily one of the most beautiful hotels in the most stunning setting - The hotel I sensitively decorated and appointed to reflect its history. A walk to Iseltwald along the lake and ferry return is highly recommended
