Quebec City is one of my favorite places to visit.
Quebec City is one of my favorite places to visit. It is beautiful, charming and quaint. I brought my daughter and her family there for their first visit and they were delighted. They were thrilled to see where their ancestors, the Bouchards, came from around 1650. The younger ones rented bikes to tour around and we found a great gluten free bakery, Chez Hansel and Gretel. The family loved the ghost tour. I first visited Quebec City with my French students in the 1990’s and fell in love with it. Views of the water & historical landmarks were the best.
Views of the water & historical landmarks were the best. Tourist Visitors Center was awesome. We used it several times. So many tourists fighting for sidewalk space & outdoor seating for meals got to be a challenge. We did whale watching tour & Plains of Abraham tour. We visited Parliament - check in there was very through. We thought we were cleared for state secrets. Ha!Guest review byAlice - 4.0

Forget Montreal. Quebec City is a gem! The 1 hour tour through the Chateau Frontenac is a must. Love the narrow laneways lined with shops and restaurants. Great restaurants in the upper city near the parliament building which is spectacular at night.Guest review byChrisAustralia

It is within walking distance to everything you need - La Citadelle, the Plains of Abraham and of course the Old Town. The best thing about our stay was the atmosphere. It is such a beautiful little Bed and Breakfast. The kitchen was well equipped and every day we relaxed on the terrace or in the living area with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. It is located in the heart of old town, every sightseeing spot can be reached by foot. The check in/out were easy and convenient. Our host Wiliam was very welcoming and made us feel at home. He answered every question and gave us good recommendations. He was awesome! Further, he explained the kitchen rules (free breakfast + bring your own food and do your dishes).
