The people are friendly and lots of activities. The food was good however things are a bit pricey. I was with my friends, we enjoyed the different malls. We also went to Thapong and Park27 for different lifestyles and music genres. However at some areas of Gaborone there were very huge potholes,but easy to get around as we used our own vehicle. One of the cleanest cities I have visited.
One of the cleanest cities I have visited. Although the business centre of Botswana, there are plenty of things to do, from shopping, sightseeing, game reserves, etc. The night life is quite busy, and if you want to go out, even by yourself, it is exceptionally safe, and you will soon make new friends. Using taxis (InDrive) is just a breeze and you will find a driver in no time, so you do not even need your own transport. I travelled for a business meeting in Gaborone with my collegue. One of the highlights for me was the significant improvement in road traffic around Gaborone. It was a breath of fresh air to see the roads moving swiftly, making it easy to navigate between our accomodation and the business meeting at Cresta President Hotel. Kudos to the Botswana government for enhancing the road infrastructure in Gaborone! We lodged at Rosenia Boutique Hotel and it was delightful! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, they assisted us with everything we needed.The hotel itself exceeded my expectations. The rooms were super clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I particularly appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which allowed me to relax and focus on my work.
