Veliko Tyrnovo is a lovely town - bigger than I expected which means it had absolutely everything you might need. There is loads to see, and we will probably return to see more. Really nice town in the middle of Bulgaria, do not miss it if you are travelling from Sofia to the Black Sea Coast. Many great restaurants and bars to choose from, we went to EGO pizza restaurant which has much much more on the menu as well as pizza. Great food and atmosphere. Birosphera Craft Beer shop is great, really friendly and helpful staff, as is Best Seller Bar and the new craft beer tap room a few doors down.
