Belogradchik as a town has nothing to offer, but The Rocks and the surroundings are amazingly beautiful. The place should be on everyone's short list, a place to visit at least once in a lifetime. The city has been improving in the last decade.
The city has been improving in the last decade. Now it has much more to offer. However, the tourist infrastructure could be improved, e.g. linking the Belogradchick rocks, the wines of the region (the excellent Borovitsa winery), the caves and the nice churches near Oreshets.Guest review byGeorgiBulgaria

He took time to explain everything and he gave us suggestions on what to see, what to do, where to eat... We took most of his advice and it was worth listen to him. The apartment is located just down the stairs ftom the Belogradchik fortress, 5-10 minutes walk. The accomodation is basic and clean. Outside there is a large table where we had our breakfast.
