what an absolute blessing to have been to Medugorje. I truly felt peace there .The only thing i found is that my stay was to short. It needed to be between 5 and 7 days to really experience all that it has to offer. The beautiful convergence of prayerful locals & devout pilgrims of hope. The local community is very friendly & helpful. What was challenging was the freezing cold winds (even in mid spring!).so come prepared with an extra warm sweater & gloves. The scones & grill fish at Colombo are good. On the other hand, there are loads of shops and restaurants. We counted 27 locations(!) Where you could eat pizza but I'm sure we missed a few. The hotel is located in an alley but has spacious parking. Personell was really friendly and room very comfortabele and clean.
