We ended up staying another night because the atmosphere is so positive, we had a great 5 day trip - the convenience of being on the main road full of great places to eat and having the best pub in town at our doorstop was great. A special shoutout to Jacob, Jamie and Chris (the amazing and most contagiously friendly staff i have ever had the pleasure of coming across). The facilities were always clean and i can’t wait to come back again

Great communication from the owner/manager Lili. We were happily surprised by the breakfast bar, chocolate, bottle of wine, juice and water provided. There was so many spots to enjoy the beautiful ocean views and sunrise every morning. We loved we could literally walk across the road and were at the beach. We also managed to spot a koala up in the trees behind the accomodation.

So cozy and so clean. The view is great and only a short walk to the beach. We walked into Apollo bay for breakfast -about a 20min walk.

    This was a hostel type accommodation.

    This was a hostel type accommodation. The location was great but the room rate of $148 (double) per night for a hostel was expensive. Furthermore, considering the number of guests, the number of toilets and showers were inadequate. The toilets and bathrooms were also shared male/female facilities which was quite awkward when travelling with teenage girls.

    Perfect location with plenty to do in the region - just ask...

    Perfect location with plenty to do in the region - just ask your host. Be aware that there is no general store in Wongarra so all supplies need to be picked up before you arrive. Once you are settled there is no reason to leave the property if you are looking for a relaxing "time out". BBQ's on the deck overlooking the looking the ocean or a fire side dinner indoors offer endless opportunities.

    We enjoyed the welcome by the hosts, the blazing log fire and cosy lounge setting, the rural setting and sweeping ocean views, and the kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the engaging travel stories from other guests and our hosts.
