The place was amazing very near the beach. Clean, the restaurant was right next to the hotel I left my baby bed gaurd and didn't expect to get back but the people who working in the reception i didn't hear his name but so kindly everyone helped me to get back. Im so glad and I really appreciate 🙏 If I go to bundaberg I will definitely stay there and want to thank them in person. Thank you for your kindness 🙏 Hope you have a great week 😊

My wife and I visited Sweet Retreat as a base to visit the Southern Great Barrier Reef whilst we were up in Bundaberg. The home is in a beautiful setting with amazing sunsets over the cane fields and loads of kangaroos hopping about at dawn and dusk. At night we loved lighting the fire and watching the stars. Louise was a fantastic host, who gave us lots of tips about Bundaberg, kept the home very clean and even gave us some fresh lemonade made from fruit from the garden.

The rooms made it feel like a beach shack, the decor and colours made it feel like a beach community. Sam and Nicole were very engaging and very friendly towards myself and my twin. When we come back to Australia again we'll definitely be seeing if there's availability again.
