Staff at reception fantastic, room older but clean and nice, only complaint was ppl in room next door either 220 or 222 had tv blaring all night, went in and out of room slamming door over 20 times, went to there car atleast 15 times slamming car doors and boot until I had enough at 4.30am when after no sleep at all I left because it was a disgrace the noise and nothing being done, no phone in room to ask reception to ask them to atleast back it off a bit, but was a complete waste of money as I was so tired and left more tired and $$$ out of pocket and no sleep.Guest review byDuaneAustralia - 8.0

We enjoyed the beautiful parks and gardens, the historic buildings in the city of Toowoomba, the Cobb & Co Museum. We also liked the short drive to Crows Nest National Park with its eucalypt forest and granite boulders. Breakfast at Cafe Valetta was excellent! Toowoomba is a very good place to visit, but the thing I dislike is when you climb up the mountain, your ears start hurting. Other than that, the place is great, especially the Chinese Garden and Queen Street where the Flower Festival takes place.Guest review bySayed - 10.0

Toowoomba is always a favoured stayover as it provides good shopping and amenities. Traffic is a bit of a problem but is a lot worse in many other cities e.g. Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was raining very heavily on arrival and having the undercover area at the front entry saved us and our luggage getting wet when unloading. The owners were happy to reimburse us for purchasing pickle ball bats and balls so both tennis and pickle ball can be played on the tennis court. Great location also. It is more akin to an old school boarding house (but with cleaner sheets) The staff and other patrons I met were all friendly. Please do not expect it to be like a Hotel, if you do, you may be disappointed. It is run by a Buddhist organization that assists immigrants to become valued members of the Toowoomba Community.
