Stef and Rob have a beautiful and unique property in Murray Bridge. It was so nice to get away from the city feel of accommodation to arrive at a bespoke and creatively designed space with all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. La Folly is very special and we have not stayed anywhere like it. So much to discover and enjoy! On arrival we were met with a warm and lovely welcome - with a bonus of Chopper their super friendly dog and their pretty cats (who are a little shy!) Stef has a beautiful peacock, chickens as well as some horses that she fosters. I missed my furry family while I was on holiday, so it was lovely to have this experience as a part of the stay. Stef was engaging and she looked after us- from great conversation through to the wonderful breakfast of pancakes with smiley faces on them! If you choose La Folly, it is absolutely worth staying more than one night! It is a great location for all attractions close to Murray Bridge and the River as well as being near a wonderful dark sky tourism area.

Beautifully renovated rooms, great facilities. Bed was comfy, shower was spacious with great water pressure. Personalised "welcome" message displaying on the TV was a really nice touch that I've not come across in other motor inns. The rooms are nothing like you would expect from viewing the hotel from the street.

    Motorsport people have money. It's an expensive sport. Sorry the accommodation parts, fuel and more, paying for quality meals is no hurdle. Have you tried the schnitzel? The salad had no dressing.

    Food was ok but the building itself could have been better...

    Food was ok but the building itself could have been better built. You can hear water flushing from bathrooms above, the bathroom door opens of its own accord and the rooms are poorly soundproofed. That said, it is a great place for a drive on the track

    Was a last minute booking but probably the best decision for our trip! Was luxurious & comfortable. Not a massive fan of sharing a dwelling in a b&B set up but this place was great! Would definitely recommend!

    Tailem Bend was a lovely place to stop on our travels.

    Tailem Bend was a lovely place to stop on our travels. From the pelicans flying through the sky when we got there, to our wonderful meals and view at the Riverside Hotel. We would definitely recommend stopping at Tailem Bend.

    As a motorsport marshal I needed quiet and ability to sleep.

    As a motorsport marshal I needed quiet and ability to sleep. Up at 5.30 after a Xmas party with DJ finishing very late was hard during the day. Air con didn’t work properly so I was hot and uncomfortable and couldn’t open windows due to party and truck noise. I tried this accommodation to see if it will suit m regular visits to the track but it didn’t work at all

    Restful stay in nice room with good bed and bedding .

    Restful stay in nice room with good bed and bedding . Meals where amazing. Staff are so eager to help and came to our rescue when we could not figure out the air conditioner controls . All met us with a smile and answered all our queries. We would be happy to go back again.
