Central location in Penguin with parking right outside the door. The best thing is you can walk everywhere in town. The accommodation was pretty good and we quickly made ourselves at home here. The beach is across the road so not hard to see the sites.

Fantastic spot. They had beautiful interior and breathtaking views. I loved the lounge room, very magistic. Our stay was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities available. Shopping was easy as the shops were literally next doors. I also loved their small gesture of putting a make up remover tower, precious. Communication was very smooth.

I had a fantastic stay at the dome accommodation on the farm! The setting was peaceful and picturesque, offering a perfect escape into nature.     Enjoyed seeing the train coming through the centre of town! Lovely street appeal with flowers planted, Tardas library box and giant penguin, playground etc. Enjoyed food at the Penguin Pantry and Thai food van.

    Penguin is beautiful seaside town on the Northwest Coast of...

    Penguin is beautiful seaside town on the Northwest Coast of Tasmania. The town has excellent cafe's, art craft and gift shops and a fabulous brewery restaurant. An esplanade between the main street and beach is a great area for children to play and adults to relax. There is a scenic walkway through the town and along the foreshore extending beyond the township itself. Ferndene and Mount Montgomery within the Dial Range and behind Penguin, are also beautiful and ideal for bush walking. A lovely town and excellent holiday location.

    A beautiful little coastal resort north west Tasmania. Everyone was so friendly especially the lady at the Information Centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful accommodation with everything we needed. We will return one day. Absolutely loved it. Lots and lots of choices and a bakery to die for.

    Penguin is a very pretty and tidy town, with many older buildings to visit. It is an easy town to walk around and the residents are friendly and helpful. Its location on Tasmania's northwest coast makes it an almost perfect relaxing weekend getaway. The scenery is beautiful, both the coastal views and pastures further inland are very pretty.

    Wayne is the most warm and welcoming home stay host.

    Wayne is the most warm and welcoming home stay host. He and his two gentle border collies welcomed us and our kelpie into their beautiful home which sits near to but well above the beautiful beaches and main street of Penguin offering magnificent views of the vast Bass Strait. The people of Penguin are very friendly, the community run Op Shop full of fashions and treasures, bakery offering a huge range of delicious treats and free bikkies for visiting dogs, the fabulous Seasons by the Sea restaurant sitting right on the beach and run by delightful mother and daughters offering excellent local wines and creative food to die for! Clean accessible golden beaches with dog friendly leash free options, clean public toilets and lawns and play areas for children. The Neptune Hotel bistro on the seafront offers restaurant quality food served by the most welcoming friendly staff.

    Seasons by the Sea - restaurant that serves local, seasonal menu. The food and the service was fabulous, all this while overlooking the sea. Penguin is easy to walk around and has a lovely beachside walk along the coast.

    Wow, what was not to like. Perfect location to travel to surrounding places. Everything is right their for you in the room. Love the set up. Large comfy bed, large lounge area, chairs and small table outside to sit and relax as the water is across the road. Walking paths across the road to enjoy the water, penguins to see in many places. Food trail places everywhere. I would highly recommend it!

    A terrific house, with great views from high over Penguin and plenty of space. The host was very welcoming and the ;large kitchen was well stocked with breakfast items, coffee and tea facilities etc. Each room had a music theme and there were several living areas with many books, music options and TV screens, with excellent streaming and wifi connectivity.

    We loved the wonderful views of the ocean, and being on a farm and seeing the lovely sheep and birds. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy the views. It was close to the town of Penguin, so we didn't have far to travel to pick up supplies and visit the beach.
