Stayed for a night when visiting Jervis Bay. Not too far from there, and closer to Nowra. Breakfast was good, buffet style, and well managed. There was also a complimentary drink offered at their bar. Lovely beautiful receptionist who loved to chat up and explain all that Nowra had to offer. I wish I had asked her name and make my partner jealous :-)

    In this case the visit was for a photographic tour.

    In this case the visit was for a photographic tour. Nowra is the perfect base for playing tourist as most attractions are an easy drive away (half to an hour away). Accommodation is hugely expensive (hundreds or thousands $$$) in the tourist Meccas and mostly unavailable anyway. I recommend Nowra for an economic and hassle free stay. The location and proximity is great.

    Room was clean, spacious and better than expected. Couldn’t connect to the internet. Restaurant downstairs was perfect after a long day of driving. Quite at night. Complementary ice cream was a good surprise. I would suggest providing a couple of complimentary waters.

    Nowra is such a lovely little town and SO close to Jervis...

    Nowra is such a lovely little town and SO close to Jervis Bay too. We did a road trip through some small towns and got to explore the surrounding areas. We did some awesome nature walks, looked at cute antique shops and visited (too) many sweet shops. We would definitely come back to Nowra.

    We stayed at Nowra just to go to the local zoo.

    We stayed at Nowra just to go to the local zoo. I think it is one of the better zoos I have visited. Love the lion feeding and the crocks. Have been a number of times now and everytime we travel down the cost we always find time to visit the zoo. The Anglicare Op-Shop is terrific and they sell quality items cheap and the staff are friendly, even I don't mind going there with the wife and I usually like op-shops.

    Nowra is a beautiful town , with lovely green countryside , lovely river. It has many hotel options , nice food markets. Some lovely Restaurant options. Close to beautiful beaches / bays. Would absolutely recommend “Farmgate” as a restaurant in Bomaderry. Modern delicious food , great drinks , great staff, beautiful decor and artworks. Indoor and outdoor seating.

    Amazing seafood and fresh fruit and veggie market. Close to the coast. I visited Huskisson....magic.Close to Berry....so many nice eateries. Lunch at Blueberri and Kangaroo Valley, where I enjoyed a delicious coffee.

    Very nice modern rooms, looking newly refurbished not so long ago. Clean and really comfortable. I can't fault the rooms, especially for the price. Drink vouchers and discount off dinner at the pub as well. I didn't use the pool or tennis court, but both looked good. The pool was larger than your average hotel pool. Location wasn't an issue since I was driving, but

    I was surprised at the room when we arrived. The price was so reasonable so we expected a very average accommodation. We found that everything was so clean and up to date. Lovely bedding and fluffy white towels. It was better accommodation than a much pricier hotel in Cronulla. Certainly will stay again.

    Located a stones throw from Nowra CBD on the riverbank, close to great walking trails. the facilities although built in the 70's had been modernised with many small but lovely touches giving it a funky feel. The indoor heated pool was a bonus. Service was excellent, relaxed yet mindful.
