Fantastic location for exploring Port Stephens -- walking distance to eateries and supermarket. Clean room, ample parking lots. We booked the Deluxe King but I'm sure we received the Deluxe Suite, because there was a huge bathtub which we enjoyed using after a long but fun day at the beach :) We had a dolphin watch cruise the next morning, so we could easily walk to the marina without having to worry about parking.

    The marina was amazing and the people in the shops and...

    The marina was amazing and the people in the shops and restaurants were friendly and had suggestions for eating out. We found a lovely cafe for lunch and then enjoyed a delicious dinner at Buoys. In the morning, we had breakfast at a gorgeous cafe located in a home wares store. A few purchases were made here. There is paid parking in the main streets for one hour so moving the car was the only issue with spending more time shopping and exploring the town. In warmer weather we would explore the water activities. Worth the trip off the motorway for Nelson Bay when travelling between Brisbane and Sydney.

    Nelson Bay is so peaceful and friendly.

    Nelson Bay is so peaceful and friendly. We were just interested in relaxing for this stay. There is so much to do within a very small distance and Newcastle is less than an hour away. We returned from our stay totally refreshed. The Bowling Club have great meals and drinks.

    Given that we were travelling in winter and the weather was rainy, the atmosphere was somewhat glum. We have been travelling to Nelson Bay for quite a number of years and have always enjoyed our time there, but usually it has been in the summer time. The area and its beaches have always been very good and enjoyable.

    We loved the various beaches even though the weather was...

    We loved the various beaches even though the weather was disappointing. There were plenty of seafood eateries...we chose one with water view. It was an easy place to drive around, with a great lookout showing the whole of Nelson Bay.

    Nelson Bay is one of my favourite destinations as I visit...

    Nelson Bay is one of my favourite destinations as I visit there once or twice every year. It has a shopping centre close by. Plenty of beaches to relax. Dolphin watching cruises are a regular occurrence. For the sporting types , there is a golf club, bowls club, tennis club, etc. Plenty of dining out choices.

    Perfect house with great spaces indoor and out for our family to enjoy together. Great location, walking distance to Little Beach and Shoal Bay Beach. The air conditioning worked wonderfully on both floors. Very comfortable bedrooms and living-room. All was very well thought out and the property had a very well equipped, big kitchen to help with meal preparation. The internet was great as well. We had a great time and hope to be back!
