AustraliaEverything had clear signs to say where to enter, where to park and where the reception was. Jen from reception was absolutely incredible! She was so lovely and professional, walked us up to our chalet showed us where the light switches were told us everything about the chalet and how to contact her if we needed to, how to fill up the spa and where all the towels were ect. Then we ended up contacting her again later on to ask how to get some more ice and she walked it up to us herself, and before coming up onto the patio part of our chalet knocked and said she was there and if it was ok to come up. Just super dooper professional, kind, over the top helpful! You barely ever see service like it anymore and I really think it started off the experience for us in such a positive way so thanks so much Jen!!

We booked to eat there before we left Perth. The food was just sensational! Service across the property and pub were fabulous. Great start to a holiday in WA.

the experience that was supposed to be enjoyable but instead...
the experience that was supposed to be enjoyable but instead was rather traumatic. I opened the window for the fireplace as instructed by staff, when the blind fell on my head, resulting in my head being split open and my partner having to take me to hospital. Received no response when notified staff which was really disappointing and unacceptable.

I have always liked Mundaring, and after a couple of days...
I have always liked Mundaring, and after a couple of days staying there I fell in love. It has a great vibe, trendy but still rural enough to feel like you’re away from the city and hustle bustle! Nice shops and cafe Mojo was great too! The yarn bombing around the town was a delight!!
We enjoyed the sculpture park and the kids playground is excellent for those travelling with children.
We visited some good op-shops and enjoyed a little drive around the main area.

Fresh air,the wilderness, the people,the location ..too much...
Fresh air,the wilderness, the people,the location ..too much to list..if you don't go you will miss out on a carm .mentally and physically and spiritual experience...stayed 3 nights at the lavender patch.. absolutely amazing and very private.

Lots of things to do in the Perth Hills - including fruit...
Lots of things to do in the Perth Hills - including fruit picking, wineries, water park, bush walking, out door cinema and Mundaring Weir.
I turned this into a relaxing holiday by getting massages on two of the three days I stayed.
Great place to unwind and enjoy nature and activities.

I love the hiking trails around Mundaring.
I love the hiking trails around Mundaring. A visit to the Mundaring Weir is always beautiful and it's lovely to see so much water in there at this time of the year. The Mundaring Hotel was a nice place to eat and sit in the sunshine. Everything you need is in town, the shops and cafes are lovely. Loads of parks for the kids and grown-ups alike.
It's a great place to visit if you like getting out in nature.

Mundaring is a beautiful little town with mostly everything you would need for your travelling needs. There is an abundance of natural beauty with plenty of walking tracks within close proximity to the town centre.

This place is situated in the perfect location for people passing by. Close to the great eastern yet far enough away to give it the bush living experience. Allen and Eve are very warm and welcoming people very pleasant to talk to and very accommodating also. If I had to book another place to stay at again it would be there as their location and area is pretty much spot on. If you are looking for a well priced lovely location and a good place to rest the Mundaring B&B would be the place to stay.

Given I am a nature buff and like my space and privacy away from people, this was perfect. I was able to explore to my hearts content and enjoy nature and have my peace and quiet. The owner was awesome to speak to. He has been there for a long time and was a wealth of knowledge. I recommend doing lots of exploring around the hotel, up to the weir and take in nature.

on arrival the room was very clean & well presented with everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Our studio room was ideal for a couple. The location was tucked away in the bush giving a feeling of peace. The location was also not far out of Mundaring & easy to get to. we really enjoyed our stay & would recommend the Lavender Patch.

What a great wee hidden gem! We didn’t have anything booked during our honeymoon and whilst having breakfast the hotel popped up on a map.. great addition to our stay being able to have the warmth of the fire and owner was so great to talk too… amazing piece of history
