Mount Isa is outback so don't expect big city facilities. The people are generally friendly. Most modern conveniences are available. Mt Isa is a start for us as we visit family on a cattle station. This time we had time to walk around, we visited the underground hospital, the presentation was fabulous, the Information Centre was also great. We dined at the Rodeo Bar, there was live music when we were there, meals are great. Coffee at the Coffee Club was terrific. We were also wrapped to be able to catch a Rex plane to Boulia, 45mins! much better that the 3hour drive. admittedly we had family to pick us up, so we didn't need a car.Guest review byDebbie Anne MoriceAustralia
