Great public transport facilities mean you don't need a car. Lots of entertainment and dining opportunities in Melbourne, and excellent outlets for shopping at every level. I highly recommend an unassuming Italian restaurant in Little Collins Street called Lupino. Great food, terrific service and charming waitresses!
