You will enjoy the view of the Entrance from the boat despite you are not permitted to head towards the Entrance. Then get back on the road to go to the Lakes Entrance Lookout. The views from the lookout at Jemmy's Point are stupendous! We also enjoyed our 3 hour eco cruise on the Londsdale ferry, during which we were served fantastic scones baked on board. The Albatross Motel was good. Parking easy to unload our bags etc. We re- booked for our return trip and upgraded to a more modern room. We thought the owners were just lovely and most personable. I did an eco tour and the information about the area, fauna and wild life were extensive. The skipper and the host did their best to give us a good time although it was raining. It was a time well spend. The information provided the time and knowledge to explore by myself. There is a lot to choose from but my time was limited. I will be back and spend more time there as well as repeating the tour. I did not have a car but I have not explored the public transport options within the area, that is my next job, It is possible to rent a bike or canoe, I am not a fishing person but like to walk.Guest review byElisabethAustralia - 10.0
